At 17:38 on February 7th (Iraq local time), the 72-hour reliability operation test of Unit #1 of the Basra Project in Iraq, the equipment of which was supplied by Harbin Turbine Company Limited, was successfully completed with excellent performance indicators, marking a good start to the new year!

This power plant project is located in Basra in southern Iraq. It involves the addition of ten HRSGs and five steam turbine generator units to the existing ten 9E-class gas turbines to support the axial exhaust condensers, exhaust extension sections, low pressure heaters and other auxiliary equipment designed and manufactured by Harbin Turbine Company Limited. Featuring advanced design concepts and excellent operation performance, the auxiliary equipment was assembled in China and delivered to the site for installation with complete piping.
