Parabolic trough solar power generation
Parabolic trough technology uses parabolic trough collectors to concentrate solar radiation which heats up the working medium in the vacuum tubes. High temperature steam is then generated continuously in heat exchange system and thermal storage system and used to drive steam turbine for power generation. There are four main parts in a parabolic trough power plant: solar field, heat exchange system, thermal storage system and steam turbine and other power generation devices. On 29th June,2015, HTC officially signed the contract with CGN Solar Energy Development Co. Ltd to supply oil-water heat exchanger for Delingha 50MW SCP Project. The contract includes eight equipments of four types: pre-heaters, steam generators, super heaters and reheaters, all manufactured in line with ASME Standard.

Solar power – tower
Tower technology uses multiple heliostats to reflect solar radiation to the receiver on top of the high tower where working medium is heated. Steam is generated continuously in the heat exchange system and thermal storage system, or directly heating water in the receiver to generate overheated steam and used to drive steam turbine for power production. There are four main parts in a tower power plant: solar field, heat exchange system, thermal storage system and steam turbine and other power generation devices.
