Recently, Harbin Boiler Company Limited (HBC) of HE won the bid of two DAVYTM methanol synthesis reactors for the coal-to-chemical (CTC) Project of Shenhua Yulin Energy Chemical Company Limited (Shenhua Yulin), which shows that China's localization era of DAVYTM methanol synthesis reactors is upcoming.

The methanol synthesis reactors for Shenhua Yulin's CTC project will be backed by DAVY™ technology from Johnson Matthey, a British company headquartered in the United Kingdom and it will be designed and manufactured by HBC. The design, manufacturing, materials and inspections of DAVY™ methanol synthesis reactors are demanding; however, through its powerful technologies and top-level manufacturing HBC has obtained the approval of Johnson Matthey.
