HEC Won the Langfang Gas Cogeneration Contract
On November 1, Harbin Electric Corporation (HEC) and State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) signed a contract on the Langfang Gas Combined Cycle Project. HEC will provide the main equipment of the two F class combined cycle gas turbine islands. Deputy Secretary of the HEC Party Committee and President of HEC, Wu Weizhang, HEC President Assistant, Qu Zhe, Party Committee Secretary of Hebei Branch of SPIC, Li Guwang, Global President of the GE Gas Power Generation Division, Joe Mastrangelo, President of the GE China Power Generation Division, Yang Dan and other leaders participated in the signing ceremony.
The Langfang Gas Cogeneration Project was another awarded gas turbine project following the Tianjin Junliangcheng Project after the Group deeply reformed divisions. At the signing ceremony, Wu Weizhang said that HEC will provide high quality equipment and all-round services for the Langfang Project, cooperate with the Owner make the Langfang Project a new top quality one with 9F gas cogeneration units.
It is understood that after the completion of this project, it is expected to reduce emissions of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides and dust by 1,560 tons/year, 268 tons/year and 361 tons /year respectively in Langfang and its surrounding areas.
