On February 23, local time, the final acceptance certificate (FAC) for the Barapukulia 275MW Coal-fired Power Project in Bangladesh undertaken by HEI was officially issued by the client, the Bangladesh Power Development Bureau (BPDB).

The Barapukulia Project in Bangladesh is the first coal-fired power project signed between HEI and BPDB following the Tongi and Sylhet gas-fired power plant projects. The project includes design, procurement, supply, civil construction, installation, testing, five-year service, etc.
