Recently, Harbin Electrical Corporation made a successful bid on the first domestic fixed-bid million unit project of 2021—Turbine generator equipment for the Huaneng Dalad Power Plant Fifth Phase 1x1000MW ultra-supercritical unit project.

The Dalad Power Plant Fifth Phase 1x1000MW ultra-supercritical unit was officially examined and approved on May 26, 2020. It is the first thermal power project with megawatt single unit capacity in the West Mongolia power grid. It was independently constructed and funded by China Huaneng North United Power Co, Ltd. After the entire project is completed and put into operation, its annual power supply is expected to reach 5 billion kWh. This will not only inject new vitality into the local economy, but will also have great importance in promoting the economic and social development of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
