First Lifting and Positioning of Waste Heat Boiler Module for Manzanillo 3 Project in Mexico Successfully Completed
On March 26, at 8:58 AM local time in Mexico, Harbin Electric International Co., Ltd. successfully completed the first lifting and positioning of the waste heat boiler module for Manzanillo III 350MW combined-cycle project. This milestone marks significant progress in the project's installation upon the completed installation of three turbine modules to date.
In the project, there are 12 modules required to be installed, with the heaviest weight of a single module being 196 tons. The single boiler module under the first lifting operation weighs 121 tons, thus leading to the total lifting weight for this operation approximately 130 tons. During the lifting operation, an 800-ton crawler crane was employed as the primary lifting equipment while a 260-ton crawler crane acting as the auxiliary equipment for module flipping rack.
