On September 20, local time in Pakistan, HRSG #1 of the BQPS-III Combined-cycle Power Plant Project contracted by HE completed the hydrostatic test successfully at the first time, marking the installation of HRSGs has made a key progress and laying a foundation for the acid pickling and the steam blowing.

According to the EPC contract, the HRSGs of this project have to obtain the ASME certification. Based on the HRSG installation experience of ASME, the BQPS-III Project team made full communication and planning with the local government, the Employer, the Supervisor and ASME certification personnel at the early stage of the installation. While actively promoting the welding progress, the project team carried out strict control over the welding quality. Witnessed by all parties, the welding of the steam and water system of the HRSG was successfully completed, with the overall quality highly recognized by all parties.
