On April 2, the EPC contract signing ceremony of the Huyện Phú Tân II 3×31 MW Tubular Hydropower Plant was successfully held, and HE was awarded all the contracts for all of the hydropower plant units.

Reports say that Huyện Phú Tân II Hydropower Project is one of the cascaded hydropower projects on the Dong Nai River. The Project is located in Phu Dan and Phu Rong Communes in Ding Quan District of Dong Nai Province in Vietnam, about 120km from Ho Chi Minh City. It mainly feeds power to the 110 kV grid in Dong Nai Province. After the completion of the Project, it will greatly ease the pressure on local power supply.
