At 16:38 on July 15, Pakistan local time, the HRSG #1 foundation pile cap of the 900MW Bin Qasim Combined-cycle Power Station III (BQPS-III) contracted by HEI saw its first cubic meter of concrete poured. The whole pouring job was completed at 9:58 in the morning on July 16, taking a total of 17 hours and 20 minutes with 530 cubic meters of concrete poured.

The Project, with two sets of 4000F single-shaft gas-steam combined-cycle generator units installed, is the second project seeing cooperation between HEI and KE after the BQPS-II, which not only reflects the good working relationship of the two parties, but also embodies KE’s full confidence in HEI, representing the friendship between China and Pakistan.
