At 15:56 local time on April 16th in Turkey, the main steam pipeline purging for the Turkey Modern Paper PM6 Paperboard Mill Project, undertaken as an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) contract by Harbin Electric International Co., Ltd. (HEI), was successfully finalized. This milestone signifies the complete conclusion of purging operations for all five principal steam pipelines, thereby marking the official commencement of the project's commissioning phase.
As a fundamental component of the project's infrastructure, the steam pipeline system is characterized by its extensive length, numerous branches, and intricate network design. In accordance with the workshop configuration, it is segmented into five primary branches: the external pipe rack steam pipeline, wastewater steam pipeline, chemical steam pipeline, paper machine workshop steam pipeline, and pulping workshop steam pipeline. To ensure the exemplary execution of the main steam pipeline purging task, the Turkey Paper Mill Project execution team engaged in meticulous planning and comprehensive deployment. They formulated a scientifically sound, logical, and actionable purging plan along with requisite safety measures, tailored to the specific circumstances of the project. Throughout the implementation process, the entire project construction team maintained close communication and collaborative engagement with the plant owner, promptly addressing any issues that emerged during the purging operation. This diligent approach ultimately ensured the timely and high-quality completion of the purging work.
The Turkey Modern Paper PM6 Paperboard Mill Project represents HEI's inaugural venture in the light industrial papermaking sector. Concurrently, it stands as a pivotal initiative for HEI in its strategic expansion into non-power business domains and its commitment to fostering industrial upgrading.
