Harbin Electric Corporation has been committed to independently developing large, high-end energy and chemical equipment. Coal gasification is the most energy-intensive and widely used core technology in modern coal chemical engineering. Leveraged key core technology research projects sponsored by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council and the Heilongjiang Provincial National Natural Science Foundation, with support from our first batch of "leading goose" innovation teams, we have overcome a series of technical barriers, including alkali metal condensation in a reducing atmosphere and radiative-convective heat transfer from high-dust synthesis gas and developed a full-process clean ash removal technology system under pressurized reducing atmospheres, high-temperature steam-cooled serpentine tube waste heat recovery convective heating surface technology, core technologies for key equipment such as double-cylinder + water-cooled screen and steam drum wall + serpentine tube full waste heat boilers, and a high-reliability water circulation system integration technology. Harbin Electric Corporation is the only company that has developed and applied a full range of technologies for full and semi-waste heat recovery. We have also set records for China's longest continuous stable operation of full waste heat boilers (140 days) and semi-waste heat boilers (210 days). These marked the successful development of independently owned intellectual property rights for large coal gasification sensible heat recovery technology and key equipment. The technology has been recognized by the National Energy Administration by including it in the third list of first-ever major technology and equipment in the energy sector, filling the technological gap in China's coal chemical industry's full waste heat recovery and leading the development of energy-saving technologies in the coal chemical industry.
