On August 26, the welding work for the hydraulic test joints of Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) Unit 1 at the 1600 MW Syrdarya II Combined Cycle Gas Power Plant Project in Uzbekistan, undertaken by Harbin Electric International Company Limited (HEI), was successfully completed and passed inspection. This marks that the HRSG Unit 1 has officially met the conditions for hydraulic testing, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of the generating unit.

The project team actively implemented the company’s directives, focusing closely on the target of "ensuring that HRSG Unit 1 meets the conditions for hydraulic testing by August 31, 2025". Adhering to the principles of "ensuring safety, maintaining quality, and accelerating progress", the team efficiently organized the construction units to deploy skilled professionals, and worked in close coordination with the boiler manufacturer and the supervision unit to carry out strict quality inspections and acceptance procedures for every weld joint, ensuring full compliance with technical requirements.

Moving forward, the Syrdarya II Project team under the Central and Northern Asia Regional Headquarters will continue to uphold the spirit of craftsmanship, strengthen overall coordination, and steadily advance the installation and commissioning of key areas, including Gas Turbine Unit 1, Gas Turbine Unit 2, HRSG Unit 2, and the steam turbine. The team will further enhance lean management and strive to ensure the project's high-quality and efficient execution.
