On the morning of December 24 (local time), HE’s Chairman Mr. Si Zefu and his delegation met with AWCA’s Chairman Mr. Abunayyan in Dubai. They held talks on cooperation in the relevant fields and visited the site of the Hassyan Project.

Mr. Si pointed out that the Hassyan Project was one of the most important overseas projects of HE in implementing the “Belt and Road” initiative and also a key project to promote the friendly cooperation between the Chinese government and the UAE government. He expressed his appreciation to ACWA for its support for the Hassyan Project. He also said all the employees of HE had paid great attention to the Hassyan Project, and current project construction was carried out on schedule and some achievements were made based on the joint efforts of the two sides and benefited from the good collaborative model of the two sides.

Mr. Si said that he had very strong confidence in the project implementation and the further cooperation, and he hoped that the two parties would continue to deepen their cooperation and build an international model of mutual benefit and win-win result.

Mr. Abunayyan extended his cordial welcome to Mr. Si and his delegation. He thanked Mr. Si for his concern and support for the Hassyan Project, and fully affirmed HEI’s performance in the project construction as well as the good collaborative model between HE and ACWA. He said that, as the standby power supply of Dubai World Expo 2020, the Hassyan Project was of great significance and had received wide attention, and its environmental requirements had reached the highest international standards. The cooperation in the Hassyan Project had convinced him to approve the excellent performance of Chinese enterprises and become more confident in strengthening the future cooperation with HE.

 

The two sides also discussed about their further and visited the site of the Hassyan Project together.

On the afternoon of that day (local time), Mr. Si called a meeting at the site of the Hassyan Project and heard an overall report on the project and a special report on HSE from HEI. After the meeting, Mr. Si and his delegation came to the dormitory of the employees to see and show their care for the project members of HEI.
