At 12:42 p.m. on June 6, Dubai local time, Unit #2 of the Dubai Hassyan 4x600MW Clean Coal-fired Power Plant Project contracted by HE successfully realized coal-fired full-load power generation.

The Project is the first clean coal-fired power plant project in the Middle East under the Belt and Road Initiative, and also the world's first power plant project to realize dual-fuel full-load power generation. The successful realization of dual-fuel full-load power generation by Unit #2 is another major advance after that of Unit #1 on July 20, 2020.
