On September 25, Harbin Electric Machinery Company successfully signed a contract with Dong Nai Energy Investment Joint Stock Company of Vietnam for three 15 MW bulb turbine units at the Phu Tan I Hydropower Project.

This signing was largely built upon the sound cooperation established between the two parties. Three 31 MW bulb turbine units for the Phu Tan II Hydropower Station, designed and supplied by Harbin Electric Machinery Company, were all successfully commissioned and put into operation in the second half of 2023. This new contract marks another collaboration between the two sides in the cascade development along the Dong Nai River following the Phu Tan II Hydropower Station. It not only demonstrates the client's strong confidence in the technical expertise and contract performance capability of Harbin Electric Machinery Company but also signifies a new breakthrough for Harbin Electric Group in deepening its presence in the Southeast Asian hydropower market.
